  • South Staffordshire Regiment.

 2 Bn South Staffordshire Regiment – 6 Brigade, 2 Division

Regular Army.  In August 1914 was at Aldershot and went over to France with the BEF on 13 August 1914.

Private 5947 Alfred Steenton, 2 Bn South Staffordshire Regiment. KIA 15 November 1914,  Menin Gate, Ypres.

Private 9508 David E (Ernest) Hughes. KIA 18 May 1915. Le Touret Memorial (unknown)

 

 

  • Suffolk Regiment

11 Battalion Suffolk Regiment, 101 Brigade, 34 Division,

Lance Corporal 23734 Trevor K Jenkins, 11 Bn Suffolk Regiment. KIA Between 9/4 & 19/4/1918, Ploegsteert Memorial (unknown).
