Obituary Border Counties Advertiser & Llangollen Advertiser 9 November 1917 = Private Edward Davies Coldstream Guards – son of Mrs Joseph Davies, West Felton died in hospital from meningitis on October 21 (1917), he was educated at West Felton School and is survived by a young wife whom he married only a month ago. Two of his brothers are on active service.
