St Mary’s Church, Knockin

There is also a WW1 Memorial in St Mary’s Church which dupicates the names on the village memorial. There is also a plaque listing the men from the parish who served during WW1 and a second plaque for WW2. There is also the commemorative window dedicated to Captain Edward W Walker, 1/7 Bn Royal Welsh Fusiliers whose father was rector at Knockin and who, along with his son, is also remembered on a memorial plaque at St John’s Church, Measbrook.
